I'm Baaaaack.
Sort of. I hacked into my blog so I can post a quick note to you all. First, thanks for all your comments, thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement. It must be possible to transmit warmth and caring through the innernet, cuz I feel your best intentions for me and the boys. I intend to blog regularly, but right now I don't have internet access or a landline until August 12. Also, I haven't received your emails since the last week in June as I have been unable to hack into my ISP (this is a good thing, right?). They have been so helpful emailing me my forgotten login info....someday when I have internet service to my house I'll be able to see what those secret words were.
For now, you can leave messages in the comments and I will check them every day at the library.
Adios until tomorrow.

I've been lovingly gazing at my yarn/fiber stash from you and just drool every single time trying to decide what I want to take with me on my vacation next week(taking my wheel). Knitting or spinning or both?
As always...sending good thoughts your way.

Aren't we all.
Why aren't you using your home innernet connection you ask? Ahhh...I feel a story coming on. Short version, Dwayne tried to find the green cable junction post thing, the maps show it right at my house, but guess what? The maps lie. I have no cable service because it hasn't been run out to my house yet. Perhaps Verizon will get here before school starts. I called in May. ....
I can get emails now, though and I'd love to hear from you all.
Best,
Shelly
Great to hear from you.
I thought that you might be interested to learn that I have three (3) WIP socks on the needles. Each one is more beautiful than the other. The detailed patterns of Nancy Bush bring out the depth of the colorways. Although I usually finish a project before I start a new one, I couldn't wait to see how the yarn knit-up. I also started a sweater with the boucle. Thanks again for creating such wonderful yarns.
Hope that you are finding a few stolen moments for relaxation (knitting) and that you are planning a return to some of the activities from earlier days. In the meantime, I hope that you and the boys are adjusting and looking forward to great days ahead.
Best regards always -
